Doctor after doctor told me it was all in my head.

For years I had suffered with chronic sinus problems and repeated sinus infections. I was told that they were just something I would have to get used to, that I would have to learn to live with. I was told that my only recourse was the persistent use of drugs including sudafed, actifed, and other claritin-like pharmaceuticals along with routine use of sore throat and cold relief over-the-counter medications.

One day, a chiropractor shared with me that the human body is a self-healing organism. He stated that our birthright was to be healthy, not sick. One could say that Chiropractic is in my blood, coming from a family of 6 Chiropractors. This is true but it’s not why I decided to devote my life to this wonderful profession.

I had my own life saving event with chiropractic when I was just 4 years old. I was a very sickly when I was an adolescent. I got to a point when the doctors did not know what to do with me and there was no hope in sight. My parents had exhausted the medical route and it was time for something different. Read more »

I used to come home from elementary school and tell my parents that my day was a real pain. One day they realized that I was not kidding… By the age of 9 years old, I had sciatica that was so terrible that I would often have to stand up during class, much to the disapproval of my teachers and at the risk of ridicule from my peers. I explained to my parents that it felt like I was sitting on a thousand burning hot pins all day long. They quickly took me to the Chiropractor.

My parents explained to our Chiropractor that I was a very difficult birth. Forceps were used that literally kinked my upper cervical spine and led to the development of a minor scoliosis and pelvic imbalance. This led to sciatic nerve problems at a very young age. Within my first two adjustments I started being able to sit much more comfortably at school. By age 12, I knew that I wanted to be a Chiropractor! Read more »
