Dear Patients and Community,

hands forming heartAs we are 4 months into the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to take an opportunity to update you all on how things are going at the office.  Wes and Ellie are doing an exceptional job at the front screening patients that have either been in contact with a positive case, are positive themselves, or are experiencing symptoms themselves.  We are re-scheduling those patients at least 2-3 weeks out and asking they keep in touch with us for any updates.  No staff, including doctors, have experienced any symptoms of any sort over the last 4 months.

To continue doing our part in making sure we are providing a safe environment for our patients, we are currently taking to following precautions:  (we have been doing most of these since the middle of March)

1)  Doctors have been wearing a mask with patients for the last 3 months while in the adjusting room and exam room.  All other staff has been wearing mask since the mandate took place a few weeks ago.  We fall under medical treatment/care in the statewide mask mandate so while patients are here and receiving treatment its is not a requirement for them to have a mask on.  We are still scheduling appointments to try and space them out as best as possible to decrease wait time.  If you are more comfortable waiting in your car until your room is ready you are welcome to do so and we will call you when it’s time to come in.

2) We are doing our best to triage our patients.  We are keeping times open for existing patients and new patients that need to be checked for acute pain.  We also have times available for supportive care so patients can also be seen to prevent further deterioration of their chronic condition.

3) If patients are experiencing any symptoms of coughing, shortness of breath or fever, OR have been in contact with anybody that has these symptoms, we are requiring them to give us a call to reschedule their appointment for a future date that meets CDC or their physician’s timeline.

4) We have moved our other CA station back to the front desk in order to provide more room to spread out our seating in the reception area.  We only have 3 chair is our reception area now.

5) We are constantly disinfecting surfaces after patients have been in the adjusting rooms and at the counter, and doctors continue to sanitize their hands after every patient. We welcome patients to use our hand sanitizer or wash their hands during their visits, as well.

6) Doctors and staff will continue practicing physical distancing and will not be having any contact with patients outside of what is necessary to deliver an adjustment.

If we can make any accommodations for your visit, please contact us and let us know how we can assist you. I am very confident that the best thing our office can do to help our community during these uncertain times is provide exceptional chiropractic care, and we will continue to do that.

With love and in health,
