Chiropractic: Helping NFL players reach their peak performance

Chiropractic care for athletes is not a new thing.  Chiropractors have been helping athletes reach their peak performance, recover from injury, and get back on the field for decades.  With Super Bowl 50 right around the corner, featuring the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, I thought it would be a good time to visit the topic of chiropractic in the NFL.  Each team in the NFL has a team chiropractor as the F2CP points out in an article written 2/2/2015, “all 32 NFL teams include the professional services of a doctor of chiropractic (DC) as part of their integrated health care team approach.”  Chiropractic plays a significant role in getting the body to better level of health and performance.  There are many different techniques within the chiropractic profession, however, they were all founding on the premise of removing nerve interference and allow the body to express a better level of health and well being.   Chiropractic doesn’t just add years to your life, it adds life to your years.  As Jerry rice puts it “Football is a very dangerous and vigorous sport….. Thankfully I had the durability to withstand these tackles or I would have never succeeded or lasted as long as I did.  Chiropractic was the key to keeping me in the game.”  Do you think it was important for the San Francisco 49ers success to have their star wide receiver play 16 years with them, play 238 games and collect almost 20,000 yards, 176 touchdowns, and 1,281 receptions?  I would say so, as evident by the 3 Super Bowls he won with them.  Chiropractic care didn’t just prolong his career (add years to your life), it prolonged his ability to perform at the highest level throughout his career (add life to his years). As the Super Bowl draws near, you better believe Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, and Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are going to have optimally function nervous systems to allow their body to play at it’s peak performance.
